The brief
Sometimes a pooja room is a niche, not a room. For this 2 BHK in Palayamkottai, we built a 60 sq ft pooja into what was a corridor recess. Full-grain teak with traditional kalasham detailing, brass kambi diya holders flanking the deity, and a single recessed warm spot. The family runs daily pooja here. It does not feel small.
