The brief
A young couple, first home together, modest budget, refined taste. We used acacia for cabinetry, white oak shelving, and limewashed walls in a soft sand tone. Storage planned for actual life — a tall pantry that fits a six-month grocery run, a wardrobe with separate halves for two very different sets of clothes. The sofa is the only loud thing in the room: deep clay-coloured boucle, locally upholstered.
